A much-photographed view in Jacksonville.
I no longer make New Year’s resolutions per se, but this time of year I do remind myself of some old ones. Getting at least 10,000 steps a day, for example. Today it was warm and sunny after a few days of being cold and rainy, so Tess and I walked the bridges downtown. The route is only three miles or so, but combined with a couple of earlier outings for the dog, it easily put us over the 10,000 mark for January 5. So far, so good!
We always pass Friendship Fountain on this route, and I nearly always snap a pic when I do. No reason, really, since this scene has been serially photographed by every person plus dog in the greater Jacksonville area. But what the heck? Here’s one more, courtesy of the old iPhone.
While you’re getting your 10,000 steps, why don’t you take a few pictures around your Springfield neighborhood and post them. You have written about it in some of your posts, now give us some pictures. Please.
Good idea, Joan. Maybe I’ll do a good/bad series, alternating by day.
I like it!

I’d like to see the pictures taken by the dogs. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)
