I’m going to take a wild guess and say Battle of Little Bighorn National Monument on the Crow Agency in Montana. The monument at the top of the hill is to the fallen from the battle. The markers indicate where the bodies were found. I have said before that I am way out of my league in this contest but the photo looks so much like the way I remember the area.
