Eexplorers traveling through this country one August came across this landmark. They didn’t have to name it, because their guide told them it already had a name.
For for one point, name the guide and the landmark. For three points, tell why the explorers considered the landmark so significant.
Beaverhead Rock, Sacagawea showed it to Lewis and Clark
It was important because it was a landmark that Sacagawea said she could use to find her tribe, the Shoshones. Lewis and Clark needed to find the Shoshones so that they could get some horses.
